Our Approach
Valére Homes ‘ objective is to provide the homeowner with all available construction products and techniques so that their home is unique and maintains the character of the community in which the home is built. We will not quote a price of construction based on a square foot cost estimate (which is common with production builders) as your home is unique. We can build your home for any cost you wish; but until we discuss your expectations, there is no accurate way to give you a generalized price.
We start by asking the homeowner what style of home and which location they are looking to build. If the homeowner has no plans selected, we will assist in selecting a home plan or work with a home designer in creating a new custom plan exclusively for them. We at Valére Homes believe that it is paramount that the home plan selected/designed considers the topography and layout of the land to be built upon.
Next, we discuss the interior finishes that the homeowner is expecting. This will include flooring, fixtures, trim, appliances, cabinets, shower enclosures, and any other specialty items the homeowner desires. During this discussion, we will be able to advise you whether or not your budget can be met and suggest alternatives if needed. With plans and specifications in hand, we will then price the home and submit a detailed estimate.
Once the design and price is agreeable, we will sign a contract and proceed with construction. Since we are a custom home builder, changes during construction are certainly allowed. Our fee is a flat rate based on the size of your home – not on the cost of your home – so any savings during construction will be passed along to you. You pay the cost of the change or upgrade with no additional fee from us!
We continually ask our subcontractors and suppliers for new ideas and cost effective measures in order to continually provide quality finishes and superior designs at the best price available.
